Within our fast-growing scale-up, we are looking for a Head of Operations who is eager to build the Fangage business on a global scale! As the Head of Operations you will be responsible for building the organization from the inside out! Fangage is growing rapidly and has huge expansion plans in the coming years. As the Head of Operations you will be responsible for the organizational structure. Think about HR, Finance, Office, Business Development and Company Culture. Ready to be part of this rocketship?

The role
As Head of Operations you will be responsible for all operational matters. The company is still small and on the verge of expansion. This means a lot of the structure still has to be built. That’s why we’re looking for someone with the experience of scaling up a tech company. Someone who understands what it takes to set a structure for the future! To make it concrete, these are some of your main responsibilities:

  • Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
  • Design policies that align with overall strategy
  • Implement efficient processes and standards
  • Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws (e.g. data protection)
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization
  • Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organization optimize costs and benefits
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Report on operational performance and suggest improvements

Job requirements

  • A track record of successfully running operations in a fast growing tech company (min 5+ years);

  • Familiarity with all business functions including HR, finance, and IT;

  • Experience with implementing IT systems;

  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting;

  • Good with numbers and financial planning;

  • Outstanding communication skills in English and Dutch;

  • Excellent organizational and leadership ability;

  • Analytical mind;

  • Affinity with the entertainment industry, you have to understand our product;

  • Can-do mentality, strong personality, able to drive change across all levels of the organization.


About Fangage 

A few years ago, Sam Feldt saw that he had over a million followers on his social media accounts as an artist but realized they were not really his. He was only reaching about 2% of his followers and did not understand why he did not have access to his own followers? Out of that frustration, Fangage was born. Fangage allows creators to take back control of their fanbase, and engage & monetize fans directly – cutting out the unnecessary middleman. Fangage roots are in the music industry, but they have recently also seen an influx from esports teams, athletes, events companies and influencers.
